A Day passes and another day comes
“A day passes and another day comes” is a very large plaster relief (6m x 8m) suited to a specific wall in the Israel museum. The relief consists of many cast objects which were created during a ten day walk of pilgrimage that took place from my home (near Netanya) to the Israel museum (85 miles). The various objects were assembled together into 16 large frames, painted to white and fixed to the wall.
The viewers stand in front of the large relief and at first glance see a white abstract, then they start seeing all the details, gradually decoding the objects to realize it is a subjective mirror of Israel in 2015.
